I am honestly so upset that Kristen fucking Stewart was cast for this role. I can only imagine her dragging this film down with her horrible, one-dimensional acting skills. WHY HER?! She couldn’t have been first choice, she just couldn’t have been.

Eeep! Super excited for this. I don’t really mind that Kirsten is in it. I mean, all we’ve really seen her in is Twilight. *shrug* But this looks awesome.
Excited to see this regardless of who’s in it. I would love nothing more than for Kristen to prove herself as more than That Girl From Twilight.

I had this really interesting devil’s advocate argument written out to this, where I listed all the lulzy things about Harry Potter, talked about how we ought to live and let live, no matter how stupid we think other people’s fandoms are, and made an attempt to list the life lessons to be learned from Twilight, but then when I read back over it, I realized that, even out of context, Harry Potter was to bad ass for me to make fun in good conscience.
